This 5-piece band is well worth booking for your venue. They have a sizable, regular, following which is continuing to grow.
Emerald have always enjoyed a good audience and they are able engage all generations in every gig. They inspire the younger generations and its no surprise to those that know them that most of their children are also musically talented and following in the footsteps of their fathers.
Emerald are fully supported by their partners but we owe special thanks to the late Roy Lenton who saw in Emerald, ten years ago, what was so special and regularly booked them to play in his pub, The Albion in Morley (now sadly this is closed). Andy and Jo are friends who have input ideas, helped with sound, lights, sponsorship. Andy is also co-writer of “I Wish”. Christine and John who come home from holidays rather than miss a gig. They have followed us faithfully for years, even bringing their caravan to a bikers rally!!
Everyone else who has seen them play whether once or numerous times are important to us. You cannot entertain if there is no audience to play to and enthral. This is what Emerald are all about. The lads ensure everyone has a fantastic night, playing for the love of playing live music and that in my eyes is the key that gives their performance the edge above the rest.
