The Old Git Mav	8/7/07	here's my weekly piece to settle everyone down for there sun afternoon nap Sat @ the keys were honored by the presence of EMERALD & the boys didn't fail to deliver the goods once again pumping out great classics from LED ZEPPELIN /UFO/IRON MAIDEN to WHITESNAKES aint no love in the heart & nothing else matters from the legendary METALICA .The keys wasn't full to the brim by EMERALDS standards but filled up nicely as the evening went on, all the boys were @ there usual best which is worth the entrance fee in anybody's money but as usual @ the keys no charge on the door due to the credit of Lynne & Howard & there commitment in bringing great live bands to the keys long may it last. As the first set went on the either the heat as intensified or tom was going into a sweat due to the new no smoking ban which I think him to prompted him into letting Ian go into the stairway to heaven so he could nip out for a quickie on the intro lol. Another great night by EMERALD & sure they will grace us soon again with there outstanding music & sets .Laters all take care out there & enjoy your music whatever form it comes in.

The Old Git Mav	15/7/07		just like to follow up on baz`z comment from the shay about EMERALD seen the guys on numerous occasions now & as you know Steve I'm a strong believer in them got to know Lincoln the bass player pretty well now & all the guys are sound, plus as baz says great musicians & will grace any venue right that's my 2 pence worth for the rest of the day gona pack wifey`s tool belt away on hols few days next week hope to get back in time for resurgence`s 3rd b/day bash @ the keys take care all & will check out live venues in the heart of Lincolnshire, prob only find young farmers barn do`s out in the sticks there I think
Baz of The Shay		15/7/07		HOW'S IT GOING STEVE HAD TO DROP YOU A LINE TO BIG UP A BAND WE HAD ON AT THE SHAY FRI NIGHT EMERALD THESE GUYS WERE TOP DRAWER WE ONLY HAD A SMALL CROWD IN DIDN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE TOP MUSICIANS TOP SINGER I COULD GO ON AND ON ANY LANDLORD WANTING A TOP DRAWER ROCK BAND BOOK THESE GUY'S.
Rock of the North				Thanks Baz for this, I have heard already that they are a good band and hail from the Morley area. It's good to see a landlord praise a band in this way. It's rare and thanks for this. Many landlords appreciate bands but you've gone the extra mile to praise a good band on RotN. Baz, take a look on the gig guide page for a bands available database. It might be useful to you. It is intended for landlords and promoters to peruse if they need a band at short notice.

Phil of The Coniston		05/08/07		We have bands on every Friday & Sat. We booked This Band Emerald Well what can I say about them, it was their first Gig hear and they were brill they had the whole place buzzing, so much that we have booked them again. These are a must see band I would recommend any one who books band's to give them a gig.
